My Story

How I discovered the path to pain-free living

My journey into movement therapy began when I experienced my own struggles with chronic pain. Traditional approaches weren't providing the lasting relief I needed, which led me to explore deeper connections between movement, fascia, and overall body function.

Through years of study, practice, and working with thousands of clients, I developed the FASPO method - a comprehensive approach that addresses not just symptoms, but the root causes of movement dysfunction and pain.

Today, I'm passionate about sharing this knowledge through my online courses, helping people around the world discover that pain doesn't have to be a permanent part of their lives.

My experience - journey through movement and healing

I have been passionate about movement and sports from a young age. My journey began with dance at the age of five, which evolved into modern dance during my university years. I soon found myself leading group aerobics classes and from there, naturally progressed to explore a variety of other fitness styles, including stretching, step aerobics, slide (now known as Flowin), body styling, and Bosu.

After becoming a mother, I returned to my passion for movement, this time with a growing interest in more mindful and precise forms of exercise. This led me to discover the world of Pilates, where I had the privilege of meeting Daniel Muller. His meticulous attention to detail in every single movement was a revelation and has been a guiding principle in my own practice ever since.

My pursuit of knowledge in the Pilates method extended beyond my studies with Daniel to include training with several renowned international instructors. I have also integrated a number of other powerful methodologies into my practice, including the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) method by Professor PaedDr. Pavel Kolář, Ph.D., Thomas Myers's Anatomy Trains, the Swiss-French physiotherapy concept of Spiraldynamik®, the fundamentals of Rolfing, fascial release techniques using foam rollers and balls, and the Oxygen Advantage method, for which I am currently completing my certification.

You can learn more about my education and professional experience here.

By integrating the principles from all of these disciplines, I have found a comprehensive approach to help people overcome their musculoskeletal challenges. My goal is to restore harmony and balance to the body, allowing you to live, work, and enjoy the activities you love, free from the limitations of back and joint pain.

My Story: From Childhood to Helping the World Move Better

My relationship with movement began in the most unexpected way. Born in Ostrava, Czech Republic in the late 1960s, I grew up during the Soviet era I fell in love with dance dance at just five years old. What started as a child's joy in movement grew into a lifelong passion that carried me through my engineering studies at university, where I led gymnastics and aerobics classes alongside my technical education. By 1994, I was competing at the national level, earning 2nd place at the first competitive Aerobic Master Class and representing my country in the Czech Republic's inaugural aerobics championships.

If you had told me back then, when I was leading my first group exercise classes, that my work would one day reach people across the globe, I'm not sure I would have believed you. Through the late 1990s and 2000s, I was deeply immersed in group Pilates sessions and exploring countless exercise modalities, always searching for the most effective ways to help people move without pain. Back then, my world was the studio floor, filled with the energy of people moving together. I loved it, but I also craved a deeper connection—the ability to focus on one person at a time and truly help them unravel their patterns of pain and movement.

That desire led me to open my very own studio in 2012, a quiet space where real, lasting change could happen. Working individually with clients was incredibly rewarding, and I continued deepening my expertise with certifications like Spiraldynamik®. But it also showed me just how many people were quietly struggling with pain and movement limitations.

In 2019, I took a leap of faith and founded my 'Movement Habits School,' beginning to write e-books that captured the principles I'd developed over decades. To my delight, they resonated deeply with people! But I knew that for movement, seeing is believing. In 2020, I had the lightbulb moment to start recording video courses, wanting to create the feeling of being right there with me in the studio.

What happened next changed everything. Stories poured in from people who had been sidelined by chronic back pain, knee issues, and other frustrations. They were not only moving again, but they were moving with confidence and joy. As my courses gained popularity, I started receiving questions: "Will you ever make these in English?" The profound impact I was witnessing in people's lives made me realize that the need for intelligent, healing movement extends far beyond language barriers.

That was my turning point. The success stories, the transformed lives, and the clear global need for this approach convinced me that my mission was bigger than I had ever imagined. In response to this calling, I committed to making my work truly accessible worldwide. I'm proud to say that my entire library of courses is now available in both Czech and English, with plans to include even more languages in the future.

This journey has been a constant evolution, but it's always been guided by one thing: the incredible results I see in people's lives. Thank you for being here and for trusting me to be part of your movement story.
